AAC accreditation is based on a review of an institution's curriculum, faculty, staff, policies, and facilities.

AAC accreditation is intended for the following purposes:

To assist students selecting and independently verifying Secondary and Tertiary institutions whether they offer quality degree and/or diploma programs.

To assist governments assessing and evaluating credentials of various individuals who gained their degrees and diplomas from other countries.

To assist employers who would like to know and ensure that the candidates applying for employment has indeed received good quality education and is really prepared for the real challenges in the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors of the economy

AAC does not accept responsibility for any losses incurred by a student, organization, institution, agency, government or any other entity because of an institution's policies, failure to perform, discontinuance to provide services, dishonest and/or criminal actions, or for any other actions or liabilities.

Although the goal and mission of AAC is to apply the concept of International Education and to develop transnational recognition, AAC realizes that many countries, governments, states and provinces often utilize different regulations regarding degree granting authority within their borders. A legal and valid degree in one country may or may not be accepted as legal and valid within another. While EAA makes every effort to coordinate transnational recognition, accreditation by AAC may or may not be accepted by different countries or governments.

AAC welcomes recognition by the Ministries and/or Departments of Education from other countries.
